Things are still going in the right direction! They have started him back on soft foods to make sure his intestines can handle it. He still hasn't had pain since Thursday evening, which is awesome!  The plan is to be discharge tomorrow-Lord Willing.

Update

Well this morning brings improvement-thankfully! He hasn't needed pain meds since about 8ish last night. He has been able to continue sleeping  comfortably even with out pain meds. Looks like the doctors will start him on liquids today to make sure his stomach is truly working itself out. If liquids go well then he gets his NG tube out- which he can not wait for!!  We had surprise visitors last night- thanks Rachel and Steph for showing up to hang with us... It's not Kentucky but we can still make it fun!  Thanks for all the continued love and prayers!

If it does straighten out then they will remove the NG tube, give him food & send us home. If it does not straighten out then they will have to cut him open and...
