Good morning from sunny Chicago! Brent has been feeling much better since getting admitted! We are so thankful for the Dr's God has blessed us with and the knowledge he has blessed the Dr's with! Initially we had thought we would get discharged today but there are some tests that the dr's want to do before sending us home 2+hrs away. We are thankful to be here in good hands! Please continue to pray for the dr's that God will give them the knowledge to make the right decisions and us the patience to trust that all is in His hands!

Well as a lot of you may know Brent has had respiratory flu since the beginning of December. Since then he has had great days and very cruddy days. Including symptoms of chills-to the point of literally shaking like a leaf, fevers,coughing and SOB. We have been in contact with our dr's in Chicago through out the month and after the SOB came on we decided it best to get an appt with the dr. We came up on Friday for an appt and after an X-ray along with some blood work the diagnosis was given that he has pneumonia. So with that he was admitted and so the stay here at the big house has begun. I am blessed to have a room at the Ronald McDonald house-where they have new wonderful mattress!! (those of you who have stayed there would understand) :) Yesterday they also did a bronchoscopy and he did ok through that. Since then he has been on a little oxygen just as a recovery method they do. He is currently being weaned off and is down to 1.5 L. Today he is feeling MUCH better we think i...
