We were in Chicago today for a couple appt's . We seen Dr. Barton (cancer Dr .) at 9 this morning and he did see some nodules in his CT scan but the radiologist noted them as possibly a start of an infection, so NOT CANCER, praise the Lord. He is still Cancer FREE. We don't have to go back to see him again for 3 months and that will be the same routine, CT scan one week before and then the following week see these Dr's again. At 11 we seen the lung transplant Dr. Everything is going good there as well. They are recommending him to touch base with his sinus surgery Dr., Dr. Welch , so we made an appt. with him the middle of August. Brent has been having more coughing then normal lately, more so of a dry cough. Dr. thinks it's just the sinuses draining and causing him to cough, hence the reason to check in with the sinus Dr. He agreed with Dr. Barton that the nodules noted in the CT were fine as well. So we have peace of mind about those...for the most part. We likewis...

...it truly is. Not a week goes by that we don't think of Brent's donor family and what a gift they have given to us but most of all Brent. We are SO blessed. As we think of all that God has done for us we pray the same for Jordan Schroeder and his family. Our hearts ache for them during this time of pain and suffering. Jordan know that we think of you and your sweet wife often along with your parents and siblings. Our hearts cry out to God for you, keep your strength...God is SO good! As I said before we spent 4 th of July weekend with Brent's family. We camped out in our little pop up tent one night, which was really fun. there was LOTS of fun and sun that weekend! There will possibly be pictures to come sooner than later. We enjoyed the parade, fireworks, reunions, volleyball, swimming...great family times and memories! This past weekend we were blessed to go out to Ohio to see a dear couple we are friends with. We had SO much fun and look forward to going back...
