Brent has been in the origami mood lately. He has been trying new things! We were blessed to go to Arthur,IL today with our Neighbors Pat & Owen. They are friends with an Amish family so we were invited to go with them this trip. We had a very enjoyable time. The family was super nice and we got to know them. Their daughter and I hit it off pretty good-we're both talkers! It's also nice to go to the bulk food stores and stock up on the herbs and things! Thanks Pat and Owen for your love, kindness and friendship-we are blessed to have you as friends and neighbors! Hope everyone is staying warm and hope you each and everyone have a great God filled coming week! Blessings! Trudy
Hi. Hope everyone is staying warm. we were at the transplant doctor this Monday. not to much has changed. they gave me some shots and drew some blood....i think they put in as much as they took out, so, I'm still normal...ha ha... the shot were hepatitis A and pneumonia. we talked about the blood i cough up from time to time and the pain i get in my side sometimes. bottom line is that a little blood is OK, alot is bad in which case we would go the hospital. the pain(pleurisy) i will have to live with and if it gets to be too bad then i would need to go on antibiotics again. they did do a cf transplant this past week, so that is encouraging. i still have the same score 36.8 so my ranking has not change. people ask where i am at on the list, this is hard to answer because of the scoring system. here is what we do know. when the donor lungs are a match for me i will get the call. if they are a match for me and someone else, the person with the highest score will get the call. we hav...
Hope everyone is having a great week! I don't know about you but when the sun is shining it makes the days better! Brent Update: He has been feeling about the same. He talked to his nurse in Chicago on Monday and because he had been coughing up blood a couple times the past few days they sent him to Bloomington to get a chest x-ray. They also decided to put him on another week of IV's . His nurse called him back today and told him that his x-ray was fine! Thankfully!-they were worried he may have a pin hole in one of his lungs..but he doesn't! I started my job on Monday . I love it so far. I have already helped the Dr's with some procedures-I am learning new things everyday. The group of girls are a lot of fun to work with and it's a christian atmosphere. I feel blessed the the Lord opened this door for me and I am truly thankful for it! Brent was able to spend sometime yesterday with our neighbors for the afternoon. Brent has been a huge help now that I am back a...

Because his health is declining it's hard for him to know his body as well as he use to. We just continue to pray that God will provide if /when he is suppose to get his fresh lungs! There is no news on transplant at this time. Life is so busy...I am sure many of you can agree on that! I go back to work Next Monday already! I was suppose to start in February as some of you may have know. But th...
