New things....

It's been, for the most part, a quiet couple days, all things considered.

We received news yesterday that Brent's kidneys are not getting better-in fact slowly getting worse. So they are going to do dialysis. This came to us as a slight surprise because they had been telling us that they were pretty certain that he was done with dialysis and wouldn't need it. Dr. Came in yesterday and told him he does need it and he will need it 3 days a week with 4 hour sessions for an unknown amount of time. There plan is to do frequent lab work and there hope is that his kidneys will get better and he will only have to do this for 3-6 weeks. If they do not get better -this would be last resort/worse case scenario we are looking at a possibly kidney transplant
So needless to say we are hoping and praying that the dialysis helps him! Currently he is down getting an access line put in for dialysis and they are going to do a 2 hour treatment today. The good news is that we get to come home and do his treatment! They say POSSIBLY tomorrow at the earliest we could go home- so time will tell. It all depends if a dialysis clinic can get him in for treatment tomorrow or not.

As we continue to say thanks SO mug for the love, support and prayers. I know it sound monotonous but we mean it from the depth of our hearts! God has been so good to us! It's times like these we look back and realize how easy it is to take the great days for granted! We are soon reminded that Every Day Is A Gift!

I want to thanks all of our family members for pulling together through this and supporting us, our dear friends who encourage us, our cousins & family for being willing to keep our dog, to our employers & co-workers for pulling together to help us both out and for being team players and to our church friends and family. Thank you! May each of you be blessed for your kindness!

Love Brent and Trudy!
