To God Be The Glory
Well...Things went great last Thursday. We seen Dr. Barton and he told us that the lymphoma in his colon is all clear according to the tests....so as for them....he is ALL CLEAR... Whoo Hoooo!!
We were So thankful.relieved....to hear that news.
The same day brent's transplant nurse called him to tell him his blood test results. As of over a week ago his kidney function was down so they had him drink lots of water over the weekend and redrew his blood work monday morning. So from those tests his kidney function is still down. They are work 35% as to a person that is "healthy" works 60%. So next month we go up the 10th & 11th and they are going to do an ultrasound of his kidney's the 10th and the 11th we will see the renal-kidney dr to see how things look and to know our future plans from there. His nurse told me that his numbers can stable out and they don't have to do anything they will function at 35% but won't get worse.
Otherwise if they continue to get worse he will eventually go on dialysis and from there....a kidney transplant.......These last two are the WORSE case scenerio....he is far from it at this point...we were told these so we know what COULD happen. Please don't worry about it because we are not worried about it at this point. We are waiting to See the Dr next month and go from there as to what is ahead of us...unltil then...we are enjoying everyday together...as we have been! We are so blessed to have each other....I think I am more blessed to have him...but he continues to correct me :)
