Life Is Good & Blessed!

Well things have been going awesome around here. Not problems to speak of, Brent's been feeling Really good. We have yet to hear results on his acid reflux test. We have been helping Brent's brother get their house ready to move into this weekend. I am having a blast helping paint and do some decorating with Amanda...good times! Brent is back in the field farming today. He has been off since last Wends because of all the rain and the combines kept getting stuck! They are pretty busy so he is loving it! He did go down to Altorfer in Clinton and inquired on a couple jobs. So we are waiting patiently to see what is ahead of us. I am currently working my three 12 hr days and one 6 hr day a week. I love my job and the girls I work with! It's pretty fun! I have never been able to say that I love my job but I do, I enjoy everday going into work...so far so good! We are going back up to Chicago on Monday the 9th for the diabetes Dr & his sinus Dr.

Dr. Alex Rounds

Dr. Alex was just in. Nothing really new. Pretty much just waiting for those tubes to come out. He explained his meds and when we will need to come back for appt's with him etc. He is one of the nicest Dr's that we have...I say one of because we many that are nice! Here are a couple pics of him when he was in here with us not even 10 min ago! Enjoy! PS. I have to admit the Coyote movies weren't that bad...rachel!

It's OVER!!!...so far!

He is out of surgery and everything went GREAT!!! It's awesome!!! We are so truly thankful for all that has come over the past hours! He should be extubated by the end of today. I will let you know more when I know!

Good evening! First thing this morning we went to Chicago to meet with the Dr who will be over seeing Brent’s photopheresis treatments. We had all of our questions answered and are hopeful that the treatments will work.  His first treatment will be Thursday morning of this week and we will have to go again on Friday. The treatments have to be done in Chicago and-we were glad to hear-the treatment will only be 2 hrs long!! The one side effects he has is that he can’t be exposed to the sun the first 24 hrs after treatment. This is because they use UV light in the treatment and it takes 24 hrs for his body to absorb any excess of the UV sensitive drug that may be in his body.    Other than that he should feel the same as usual!  He was also scheduled to get a port (under the skin) placed today.
