Chicago Trip...Number: I can't remember!
Hello! Sorry this update come So late!
Brent's appt. yesterday with his ear nose & throat Dr. Went well. They are going to do sinus surgery again on Sept. 23 up in Chicago. He also gave him a couple nasal steroids and antibiotic he gets to flush his nose with! Today the appt with the heart Dr. also went very well. He is doing good and the Dr. is going to wean him off of the heart medication he is on now, then after a month he will stop it all together...as long as he has no episodes of his heart racing, etc!
You know you have stayed at a hotel when the free continental breakfast cook...remembers what you like!!! The hotel we stay at as AWESOME eggs...but only on certain days! When we checked in yesterday the lady standing behind the counter was joking with me and another lady was just standing there beside her. Pretty soon the other lady looks at me and said...I thought I recognized you...you are the one that LOVES my eggss......I about died! They are scrabbled eggs with meat & cheese in them and they are moist! Brent & I just died laughing when that was what she remembered me by-oh my...how's that go...HERE"S MY SIGN!!
We go back up to Dr. Love on Monday for another bronchoscopy. He did do a breathing test while were up there this time and his numbers are trully down from last time. So we shall see what the Dr's find when they go in on monday.
Please continue to pray for those involved with Brent's care (Dr's, nurses, aides, etc!) Also keep those parents in your prayers that have children with CF and those parents everyday that go in to have their babies tested for it! It can be a scary thing, especially if you don't know what CF is! May God hold each one of those parents in His hands as He did with Mom & Dad Blunier. We are grateful to them for the care that they gave Brent when he was a child and for the grace that God gave them when he was born!
We continue to know that EVERY DAY IS A GIFT...that HE has give to Brent & I and to all of you out there! We don't know what tomorrow will bring!
